Hong Kong team to support Green Power Hike
Sixteen members of our team in Hong Kong have volunteered to take part in Green Power’s 17th annual hike on 6 February to raise money for this local charity.
About Green Power
Green Power was formed in 1998 by a group of volunteers who were concerned about local environmental problems in Hong Kong. Its work includes environmental education, tackling environmental issues, carrying out conservation work and managing the Tsuen Wan and Wanchai Environmental Resources Centres.
Green Power Hike to raise money
To help raise money to support this charity’s work, a 50km sponsored hike is taking place along the Hong Kong Trail which goes across Hong Kong Island from The Peak to Big Wave Bay. It will take fundraisers through five country parks, beside five reservoirs and past a variety of flora, fauna and landforms.
