Road Safety Audit for Highway and Traffic Engineers – In-house (1 or 2 days)
This course is aimed at highway and traffic engineers, consultants and developers who have road safety audits undertaken on their schemes. Road safety audits can cause issues during their design and post construction and the early identification of problems can speed up the planning application stages, design processes and also avoid costly abortive works.

The course gives delegates an understanding of the process of road safety audit, how and why road traffic accidents occur and what road safety auditors are looking for in their schemes.

*NEW* Understanding and Tackling Motorcycle Casualties
Course fee: £199 + VAT

There has been little progress in moving towards the 2010 road safety targets in this user group compared with other groups.

This one day course covers the issues of two wheeled motorcycle collisions from understanding how a bike handles, how the users ride them, the mindset of the types of bikers, how the collisions occur and what we can do to address these problems. The course gives real world solutions to address two wheeled motor vehicles collisions resulting from how they are actually ridden, not based on how a rider ‘should’ ride.
